Since long ago meat products have filled our granary. Several years ago we added to our farm a new modern meat processing plant and drying room. The beneficial effects of the Bora wind are even now used to the utmost for drying prosciutto, salami, pork neck salami, pancetta, and bacon ( fat, cracklings). Only in this way do we manage to stay in the market with no competition – with our products derived from home-fed livestock (pork and beef).
Besides meat products, vegetables and fruit are an important heritage of our ancestors. Vegetables at our farm, especially the Vipava raddichio – indispensable during the coldest time of year – can be picked all year round. From the fruit we produce jam and juices which, besides sparkling wines, are our new product ranges.
